Блин, облом..
Hello Nikolay,
In our appointment I spent some time with you looking through the transfer database to identify possibly equivalents to no avail. From what I remember, I discussed with you many potential problems that could come from you taking the course from outside the UH System:
1. You have to apply to the outside college
2. You may need to meet specific prerequisites to take the course with the outside college
3. If the course does not exist in the transfer database, then there is no guarantee that it will transfer in as an equivalent to what you need at UH Manoa
4. Your graduation will be delayed because we will not be able to confer your degree until the transfer credit evaluation is completed
In my honest and professional opinion, it is in your best interest to remain in NREM 203 here at UH Manoa and successfully complete it if you want to graduate in fall 2016.
I understand that there may be some apprehension to take the course again since you did not pass it last time, but there are support services you can take advantage of here on campus to help you pass. We have The Learning Emporium on campus that can provide assistance with topics covered in class. You can check them out in Bilger Hall Addition, Room 209. Here is there website:
http://www.hawaii.edu/natsci/learningemporium.phpThey do not specifically identify NREM 203 as one of the subject areas that they assist with, but that course is similar to MATH 203. You can always just check it out.
You need to complete the course with at least a D or better.
